野餐會 Annual Picnic

CCCNJ annual summer picnic was held on August 5, Saturday. Praise God for a beautiful sunny day. More than 300 members and friends, young and old, came to enjoy the fun and fellowship and of course the delicious food we prepared.

Our brothers set up the tents, tables and chairs in the morning. Many families brought various home-cooked food items in the early afternoon which includes cold noodle appetizer, tea-flavored eggs, western and Asian sauces for noodles, chicken wings, salads, corn, watermelon, green bean soup and drinks. People started to arrive at 3pm.

Many brothers were busy attending to the BBQ stations grilling pork chops, hamburgers and hotdogs. The sisters were making scallion pancakes in the kitchen, which were then pan-fried by the cooking station outside. There was not a moment of time wasted as the chefs were busy serving long lines of “customers”. The love and humility shown by the volunteer cooks was really heartwarming!

We also have invited our friends and neighbors to enjoy the picnic with us and people were sharing and talking as they enjoyed the meal. Fourteen groups of volleyball and basketball teams formed from a mix of various age groups started their playoff games. They were fiercely competitive! Large group of children were happily playing at game stations. Lively music throughout the afternoon made the event like a carnival!

Three congregations, the Mandarin, English and Taiwanese, coordinated and worked together for the picnic. Our church members from infants to senior citizens spent a memorable afternoon together as a big family. Truly, how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! We welcome you to join us in worshiping and fellowship in our big family of CCCNJ!

主恩堂夏日野餐會老少同歡

新澤西主恩堂一年一度的夏日野餐會於8月5日（週六）舉行。當天風和日麗，男女老少三百多人歡聚在教會共享佳餚美食。

上午弟兄們合作搭好篷帳及搬桌椅到草坪上。午後姐妹們紛紛將做好的涼麵，茶葉蛋，中西兩式拌麵醬，滷雞趐，生菜沙拉，玉米，西瓜，綠豆湯及飲料等放到桌上。三點鐘一切就序，賓客攜老扶幼陸續到來。

外面男生們忙著燒烤豬排，熱狗和漢堡香味四溢。廚房裏女生們忙著和麵作蔥油餅，一位長老端著趕好的蔥油餅進出供給外邊弟兄煎油餅，站在爐旁忙著煎餅和烤肉的弟兄，他們一刻都不停，為要供應排長龍的賓客們，如此的愛心和熱誠好令人感動啊！

親朋好友和街坊鄰居每年都會來教會的野餐會享受美味佳餚，大家一邊大快朵頤，一邊聊家常，和樂融融！十四隊青少年，大學生和成人的籃排球比賽也正在如火如荼激烈地進行著！兒童們開心地玩著各類趣味遊戲。在輕快活潑的音樂聲中，大家像是置身在嘉年華會呢！

野餐會由中、英、台三個堂會的團契分工合作，老少同歡共度了一個美好的下午。我們是個大家庭，弟兄姐妹和睦同居，何等的美善！歡迎朋友們來主恩堂和我們一同敬拜聚會。
