Welcome! Looks like you are interested in not only God, but in our Youth Group! Heres a few things that you should know about our Youth Group.

 

YG Mission

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Matthew 22:36-39

  1. Vision 
  1. To build up youths to be Hospitable, Uplifting and Genuine by relying on the power and wisdom of God.
  2. "Put on then as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience..." Colossians 3:12
  1. Teach the importance of the youth group, sabbath, and God through sharing, teaching and encouragement
  1. Empowering them as a student run ministry.
  2. Build through the students while assisting them in a "Hands on" support role; giving careful freedom so they have an opportunity for self initiative to take ownership of their fellowship
  3. Parental Support
  1. To be accomplished through
    1. Friday Night Fellowship: The main venue for students to have a place to explore areas of their faith with their peers, as well as guided support from teachers. 
    2. Sunday Worship: Having a separate youth service so that students can worship God fully with their hearts and eventually learn and take over worship themselves.
    3. Sunday Youth Bible Study: Teachers will target teach scripture to build a biblical foundation.
